Wyoming and the Grand Tetons

August 15, 2012

We only went through the western part of the state, which other than the Grand Tetons, is pretty desolate.  Wyoming has the smallest human population of any state, but perhaps the most elk.

Yet another great cowboy state.  This time we didn’t make it to a rodeo.

The Grand Tetons mean “large breasts” in French. They’re beautiful, by they I mean the mountains… you sicko.  If I knew how to mountaineer, I’d be clambering to the apex of one of these peaks ASAP.

Welcome to Jackson Hole, Wyoming!  Yes, these are real antlers.

A fuller picture of the antler arches.  They have no shortage of elk in Wyoming. To my tree hugging readers: these antlers were shed and harvested from the ground by boy scouts.

Where the antelope play.
