Yellowstone National Park

August 14, 2012

Yellowstone is an amazing park, full of wildlife, geothermal activity, and tourists.  It’s a huge park.  Takes all day to see, and even then you’re barely scratching the surface.  The only things I wanted to see that I didn’t were moose and bears… didn’t even expect to see wolves, so not really let down in that area.  Anyway, it’s pretty sweet.  I totally recommend it.  Just don’t leave your car when bison are near, the park rangers really don’t like that for some reason.

Hot spring with the bacteria mat in the foreground.

The bacteria mat makes pretty colors and lines.

Old Faithful, of course.

The herd is on the move, and they do whatever they want.

A large bull making faces at me.
