Men’s Hike Trailer

May 1, 2012

This past weekend I went hiking with my east-coast church.  We went to Pisgah National Forest, near Brevard, North Carolina to backpack.  This is probably the most beautiful I have eve seen the place.  Everything was a vibrant green, tons of creepy-crawly wildlife were out enjoying the moisture, and more ferns were growing on the floor than ever.  We bonded quickly as a team.  Within the first couple hours of arriving we crossed several small rivers in the driving rain.  Most of us began the night with clothes, packs and gear thoroughly soaked by the rain.  We even saw hail the size of jaw breakers that evening while we worshiped (thankfully under an overhead tarp).  This is just footage from day 1.  Unfortunately my battery died on my GoPro early on, so all we got was footage of river crossings.

I recommend watching it in full-screen.  Enjoy!
