Marion Square Time-lapse

April 14, 2012

I actually messed this up… well, even more than having the horizon tilted.  I set this up mid afternoon on top of the John C. Calhoun statue but hit the wrong setting (unfortunately the GoPro’s graphic interface is still a little confusing at times).  I had it on the regular timer setting instead and let it stay “on” for the next hour and a half.  It was supposed to capture the take down of the farmer’s market, the preparation for the Citadel’s recognition day ceremony, and then the cadets marching into position.  I realized toward the end of the ceremony that I had only taken one picture.  A bit frustrating, but this is what I got.  I think it’s boring, but it still turned out alright.
